Yet another BKK Customer Service Centre has opened at Népliget metro station. The new, European-standard customer service point provides integrated public transport related services such as: ticket and pass sales, travel information, taxi service complaint management, administration related to MOL Bubi and general passenger information.
We are demolishing walls between customers and the service provider – started his inaugural speech Dr Kálmán Dabóczi at the opening of the new customer service centre. The CEO of BKK intended to point out with this introduction that while at the previous ticket offices customers were separated from salespersons by a window and bars, at the new customer service centres there is a more direct, more human way of communication and of taking care of business. According to the CEO of BKK, it is not sufficient to have nice vehicles or to know that the FUTÁR system’s loudspeakers are working properly, but developments such as this one are also needed to be able to faithfully communicate to people how the transport system of a modern European metropolis functions. The design and style of the new customer service centre at Népliget demonstrates what this transport hub will look like in the future. Dr Dabóczi also said that BKK will increase the quality of customer service further and as a next step in the development process a new customer service centre will open in 2017 at Szentlélek tér, and the opening of additional customer service points are planned for the coming year.
Two service counters await customers at the new centre at Népliget between 5:30 and 22:00 from Monday to Sunday. Customers with reduced mobility and those arriving with children receive priority service.
